OUR PODCAST
The thing that started it all. Three friends, working in a game shop, beginning to go their separate ways from a career perspective, felt a longing to continue the passionate conversation of media. Our podcast started as MultiMediaVerse, and eventually, we realised we wanted to output more. So we changed the moniker to be MultiMediaVerse, and our podcast to be affectionately known as CornBread. Silly name (we know!), but long time listeners will hear us impersonate John Coffey (like the drink, but with Y) from The Green Mile, and this is where it has come from!
Here on CornBread we try to keep up-to-date with the latest and greatest across all media outputs (movies, shows, games & more). Harry is always at the cinema fulfilling this need. We also frequently delve into the oldies across all forms of media. Joe is a film deep diver and loves exploring classic movies. Games aren’t easy to keep up to date with, due to time taken to actually complete most modern games is usually over 20 hours at least. Callum is great at getting in early on the PC online multiplayers and indies which release.
We also make ranked lists, set each other challenges such as our spin on ‘Come Dine With Me’; Come FILM With Me, or our yearly 3/2/1 challenge!
Come and listen to see what they entail!
SOME OF OUR EPISODES:
EP 78 - Joes First Time In Middle-Earth!
Joe's first time watching the best trilogy ever made!
The Maddie Harris Interview! (Paddington In Peru)
We did our first ever interview on our CornBread Podcast!
Not only that, but it was with a star whose credits include all three "Paddington" movies, British sitcom "Man Down" and episodes of TV ranging from "Casualty" to "Being Human" amongst many others! We were incredibly lucky to be joined by Madeleine Harris for our first interview!
Maddie (as she prefers to be called) was not only an absolute joy to have on our humble podcast; discussed much with us, including her time in the industry and on the sets of the "Paddington" films, about some of her co-stars over the years and about some of the differences she's experienced whilst growing up on sets, amongst much, much more!
